The DPR reported an unsuccessful attack by Ukrainian saboteurs
Against the background of the announced exchange of prisoners, neo-Nazi militants from the Azov battalion of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine continue to actively destabilize the situation on the front line in Donbass.
This is stated in the emergency statement of the DPR Operational Command, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It is noted that in the Gorlovka direction, observers near the contact line discovered a Ukrainian sabotage group of up to eight people, heading through the “gray zone” to the positions of the People’s Militia of the DPR from the village of Novoluganskoye.
“Having reached approximately the same distance between our and enemy positions, the sabotage group stopped and four saboteurs began to perform actions similar to mining the area. Our defenders were observing and were ready to open fire to kill, but the activation of a signal mine forced the enemy to hastily return to their positions,” the defense department said in a statement.
Let us remind you that the day before, as a result of a clash between Azov militants and soldiers of the People’s Militia of the DPR, one defender of the republic was killed, one was wounded and three were missing. At the same time, neo-Nazis violated the body of a killed serviceman, cutting off his ear.
