The DPR reported about the campaigning of the Ukrainian military for Poroshenko
Ukrainian military personnel located in the JFO zone are allegedly campaigning for the party of ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
The official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Eduard Basurin, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, on the eve of the elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, an increase in campaign activity was noted among military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The OOS command directly takes an active part in the campaigning.
“The commander of the “OOS” Alexander Syrsky sent instructions to the formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to allocate and send to the headquarters of the “JFO” 5 military personnel who speak Ukrainian to participate in the filming of videos in support of the upcoming elections. The shooting will be carried out by an arriving group of journalists and cameramen from the Fifth Channel TV channel, controlled by Petro Poroshenko,” said Eduard Basurin.
He also added that, according to information received from Syrsky’s circle, the campaign is aimed at supporting the European Solidarity party.
“In addition, at the direction of Syrsky, representatives of other political parties arriving in the Joint Forces Operation zone are being prevented,” noted a representative of the defense department.
Let us note that similar information about pressure on the military was actively circulating on the eve of the presidential elections. However, in the end, in the polling stations with military voters, it was not Poroshenko who won, but his competitor Vladimir Zelensky.
