The DPR established a medal “For Courage”
The head of the DPR Denis Pushilin signed decree No. 64 of March 25.03.2020, XNUMX on the establishment of a state award - the medal “For Courage”.

The Medal “For Courage” will be awarded to military personnel, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the DPR, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the DPR, the Ministry of State Security of the DPR, as well as other citizens of the Republic for personal courage and bravery shown:
– in battles to protect the DPR and its state interests;
– when performing special tasks to ensure state security of the DPR;
– when protecting the State Border of the DPR;
– when performing military, official or civil duty, protecting the constitutional rights of citizens and under other circumstances involving a risk to life.
The document approved the regulations on the medal, its description and drawing.
The medal “For Courage” is made of silver and has the shape of a circle with a diameter of 35 mm. Both sides of the medal are edged. At the top of the obverse of the medal are three flying missiles. Below, in two lines, there is an inscription in capital letters “FOR COURAGE,” under which the T-34 tank is located. Under the tank there is an inscription in capital letters “D.N.R.” The medal number is engraved on the reverse side.
