Covid restrictions will be strengthened in the DPR
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, ordered to strengthen control over compliance by citizens and residents of the republic with restrictive measures introduced in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic.
He announced this at a conference call with the heads of hospital bases on the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the Republic, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Opening the meeting, Denis Pushilin inquired about the epidemiological situation in the republic, existing problems and proposals for their solution.
During the report, the head of the DPR Ministry of Health said that as of September 29, 66 cases of COVID-394 were registered in the Republic.
“We now have 39 hospital bases open with a total bed capacity of 3 beds, of which 734 are oxygen beds. We are opening new hospital bases. “We are preparing to open a hospital base with 925 beds in the city of Shakhtersk on October 4,” the minister reported.
He added that, despite the decree “On the introduction of a high alert regime” signed by Denisov Pushilin, monitoring of its implementation is not carried out. And people continue to visit shopping centers and travel on public transport without protective equipment.
“Funds have been allocated for Covid. The purchase of oxygen equipment is underway - ventilators, oxygen concentrators, as well as personal protective equipment and disinfectants,” Oprishchenko reported.
In response to this, Denis Pushilin ordered to concentrate efforts on monitoring the implementation of the relevant decree on restrictions by residents of Donbass.
