The names decommunized by the Kyiv regime will be returned to cities and villages in the DPR
Liberated settlements of the DPR, streets, parks and squares will have their names returned.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this on the Rossiya 24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The presenter asked a question about the work to rename some objects and streets.
“These were more appeals from residents who, under the Kiev regime, were given new names; they now had streets with names that were incomprehensible and alien to our cities. Therefore, we are turning the situation back, and all the names of administrative-territorial divisions are returning to May 11, 2014. As populated areas, squares and squares were called then, so they will now be called again. The corresponding decree has already been signed,” Pushilin replied.
