The DPR will allocate housing to those injured as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces
A meeting of the head of the DPR with the heads of cities and districts was held in Donetsk, where issues were raised about the quality of work of public utilities and urban transport, road repairs and the provision of housing to citizens affected by hostilities, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Summing up the meeting, the head of the internal policy department of the DPR, Olga Pozdnyakova, called one of the most important issues discussed the restoration of the municipal housing stock for the subsequent distribution of it to a separate category of citizens who suffered as a result of hostilities.
“The first steps in this direction have already been taken. These are estimates for individual repair work, which will be included in the budget for the second quarter of 2019. Today, first of all, it is necessary to intensify work on the ground, to establish close maximum interaction between city administrations and the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services. The DPR government will pay maximum attention to this issue,” Pozdnyakova noted.
She also said that at the moment the process of preparing working estimates has just begun.
“In total, these are 504 objects for which estimates must be drawn up, respectively, when all the estimate documentation is fully prepared, we will be able to say which apartments will be financed and in what order they will be restored,” added the head of the republic’s foreign policy department .
