Alexander Zakharchenko stated this today in Donetsk during the official presentation of this program, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I perfectly understand the situation that is developing in our country regarding the social protection of military personnel who have been discharged due to injury. I know that work is being done in this direction, but, unfortunately, it is clearly not sufficient, and the things that are working now do not fully provide social protection and all other benefits that our military personnel should receive,” said the head of the Republic.
He also stated that starting today in the DPR, work begins on creating a program of social support for commissioned military personnel and the families of deceased military personnel.
“I signed an order to develop this program. A month is allotted for its preparation. The program will cover the areas of healthcare, education and social protection of our soldiers. In addition, as chairman of the public movement “Donetsk Republic,” I instruct the executive committee of this movement to create a special fund to help our military personnel. The families of fallen servicemen will be involved in the work of this fund,” added Alexander Zakharchenko.
The Head of the Republic also assured that not a single DPR soldier will be forgotten.
“We understand perfectly well the situation that has developed now. From today the program will work. All necessary orders have been given, and let each of our fighters know that neither he nor his family will be forgotten. We remember each of our fighters, and the state is obliged to do this in the future,” he concluded.
