“The information service of the Central Regional Hospital clarified that for now ATMs will serve bank cards issued for salary projects to such institutions as the Central Regional Hospital itself, the Ministry of Finance and the administration of the Head of the Republic. Central Regional Bank ATMs do not yet accept cards from other financial institutions,” the message says.
“For now, you shouldn’t try to withdraw money from cards of other banks through our ATMs. Our terminals may simply not be returned - such a card may be “jammed”, and the holder will have a number of problems,” said the operator of the DNR Bank call center.
According to him, ATMs are programmed to dispense cash in both rubles and dollars, but so far funds are issued only in the national currency of the Russian Federation.
“You can carry out three transactions per day through one ATM and withdraw no more than twenty bills. That is, if an ATM is loaded with banknotes with a face value of one thousand rubles, then a maximum of 20 thousand rubles can be withdrawn per day,” added the agency’s interlocutor.
He emphasized that the DPR Central Regional Hospital plans to expand the use of its cards in the near future to develop the non-cash payment system in the republic.
As previously reported, the full-scale launch of the ATM system in the DPR was announced for August of this year.
