Vaccination of military personnel has been completed in the DPR
In the Donetsk People's Republic, the vaccination campaign for military personnel of the People's Militia with the Russian drug "Sputnik V" has been fully completed.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Thanks to the timely assistance of the Russian Federation in the supply of drugs to combat coronavirus infection, voluntary vaccination of the population is taking place in the republic.
The promptly organized work of the DPR Ministry of Health made it possible to vaccinate all DPR personnel in the shortest possible time. Military personnel have demonstrated personal awareness and responsibility for their health and the health of their loved ones.
To date, 100% of military personnel have been vaccinated, which has made it possible to create immunity to coronavirus infection and prevent illness among personnel,” he said.
He also emphasized that vaccination made it possible to ease restrictive measures and begin safe preparations for the Victory Parade on May 9.
In turn, a DPR NM soldier with the call sign student reported that he and all his colleagues felt good after vaccination, and no side effects were identified.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to get vaccinated, and now I am calm about my health. Special thanks to our doctors - vaccinating all military personnel in such a short time is a titanic work,” he added.
The press service also emphasized that thanks to the competent actions of doctors, there was no mortality among military personnel during the pandemic, and specially equipped isolation wards remained empty.
