A family of eight people was brutally shot in the DPR
In the city of Makeyevka, which borders Donetsk, a crime of monstrous atrocity took place: unknown persons shot a family of 8 people, including four minors, with automatic weapons for the purpose of robbery. At the moment, the suspects are detained.

So, on the eve of December 26 at 21:15, the duty station of the Chervonogvardeisky district police station in Makeyevka received a message about the discovery of the corpses of 8 people, including four minors, on the territory of one of the households. A Skoda car was stolen from the yard.
“On suspicion of committing this crime, law enforcement officers, in hot pursuit, detained three previously convicted residents of the Kalininsky microdistrict, who admitted that they committed the crime for mercenary reasons, in order to steal a car and valuable property,” the department reported.
An investigation is currently underway.
At the same time, a relative of the victims does not believe the official version.
“They killed my daughter, grandson, matchmaker, matchmaker, his two daughters and his grandson. My son-in-law called, he came home, and they were all lying shot,” the man said.
He added that he is already aware of the arrest of the suspects, but does not believe in the robbery version.
“Nobody wanted to rob, they didn’t take anything from us. They didn’t take any gold from my daughter, there was a gold chain, no one took it off, they just shot her and left. The car was stolen. The reason is generally unknown, I was just at the police station, talking with the head of the criminal investigation department. While the investigation is ongoing, he does not want to disclose. I ask, what is the reason, why? He (apparently one of the suspects - ed.), says, is not adequate, cannot speak,” said a resident of Makeyevka.
Information about the crime began to spread on social networks around midnight. It was reported that the children killed in Makeevka were 1, 7 and 9 years old. The family was finished off with point-blank shots. TG channels also began distributing the make and number of the car in which the criminals fled. In addition, information circulated that the executed family were Roma.
At the same time, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation announced the initiation of a criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 105 (murder of two or more persons, including a minor, committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy with particular cruelty), part 2 of Art. 166 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (wrongful seizure of a car without the purpose of theft, committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy).
At the same time, according to the department, there were more detainees.
“The car in which the persons suspected of committing the crime fled was quickly identified. Later, 4 people were detained in one of the apartments in Donetsk.
During the search in the apartment, an AK-74 assault rifle, 3 magazines for it, and 2 grenades were found and seized. Documents are being prepared to send the weapon for examination,” the Investigative Committee reported.
