Marauders come to volunteer battalions - battalion commander "Aidara"
Kyiv, April 04 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – The commander of the “Aidar” battalion, Evgeniy Ptashnik, states that people come to volunteer units, among other things, to rob.

He spoke about this on Shuster Live. According to him, there were cases when a settlement was stormed by 50-60 people, and the next day there were already 200-300 people there, some of whom came only to rob.
Ptashnik emphasized that it is impossible to blame “Aidar” for all offenses that are recorded by the security forces, since even schoolchildren in Lviv have “Aidar” badges.
In turn, the people's deputies who participated in the discussion, Semyon Semenchenko and Vladimir Parasyuk, said that the volunteer movement is being deliberately discredited in Ukraine.
At the same time, Amnesty International representative Tatiana Mazur said that the organization advocates for the formalization of Ukrainian volunteer battalions, since they often do not realize that their actions fall under the category of “war crimes,” therefore, explanatory work must be carried out with them, among other things.
