Simferopol, April 01 (PolitNavigator, Viktor Orlov) – On Tuesday evening, a search was carried out in the house of the deputy chairman of the Mejlis, Ilmi Umerov, - law enforcement officers were looking for materials relating to the cases of the previously arrested Mejlis member Akhtem Chiygoz and the clashes near the Parliament of Crimea on February 26, 2014.

“They are looking for something that can help the investigation in the case of February 26 and Akhtem, and prohibited items,” Umerov’s daughter Aisha wrote on Facebook.
“It's over. Everything is fine. Nothing was confiscated, nothing was taken away. Behaved correctly,” she added three hours later.
The search in Umerov’s house began after several hours of interrogation by the Investigative Committee. The Mejlis managed to quickly organize a support group, but it was soon kicked out of the yard by riot police.
