The department added that a similar situation occurred near the village of Vodyanoye, where two servicemen were also blown up as a result of construction work.
“A similar incident happened in the area of responsibility of the 36th Marine Brigade. At the direction of brigade commander Gnatov, militants of the 501st battalion also carried out measures to further equip positions using trench charges in the area of the village of Vodyanoye. According to updated data, as a result of an unauthorized explosion, two marines received injuries of varying degrees of severity,” the DPR NM reported.
