In Donbass, Kyiv switched to NATO tactics during the bombing of Yugoslavia
The Ukrainian government, having taken a course to cut off Donbass from electricity, is essentially pursuing the goals that were set by NATO during its aggression against Yugoslavia.

This was announced at a press conference in Kyiv, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, by Pavel Rudyakov, director of the Perspektiva information and analytical center, who drew parallels between cutting off Donbass from electricity and the bombing of Yugoslavia.
He recalled that initially NATO called its actions a “humanitarian intervention” and emphasized that strikes would be carried out exclusively on military targets. But after a week of bombing, which did not bring the planned results, attacks began on civilian infrastructure.
“Among other things, they began to destroy the infrastructure that supplied the population with electricity. Cluster bombs were used when one or two charges cut out the electrical network of several cities. Then the Americans admitted that they were counting on the fact that the population would begin to rebel en masse against Milosevic,” the expert said.
“They called it a “humanitarian intervention,” although in reality there was aggression. But we are not engaged in either “humanitarian intervention” or aggression on the territory of Donbass, but in fact our actions fit into this direction. If we take the officially recognized strategic goal of the reintegration of Donbass into Ukraine, then it is clear that such actions run counter to this strategic goal. Either the actions are not fully thought through, or the strategic line is not formulated exactly as it actually looks,” Rudyakov concluded.
As PolitNavigator reported, having cut off the LPR from electricity supplies, Ukraine began preparing to disconnect Donetsk from electricity with the assistance of Akhmetov’s company.
