A woman and a child were blown up by a Ukrainian mine in Donbass
In the Lugansk People's Republic, a woman and her twelve-year-old child were blown up by a previously fired APU and unexploded mine.
This was reported by the press service of the LPR National News Service, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“For seven years now, the aggression of Ukrainian militants continues to bring pain and suffering to the residents of the Republic. So, yesterday, as a result of the detonation of an unexploded ordnance near the demarcation line near the village of Zolote-5, a child born in 2008 and his mother, who were walking livestock, received shrapnel wounds.
Unexploded ammunition was previously fired from the positions of the 30th mechanized brigade during shelling of the village of Zolote-5,” the report says.
The department added that the victims were taken to a hospital in the city of Pervomaisk, where they received qualified medical care.
“The command of the People’s Militia calls on residents of the front-line regions of the Republic to be vigilant and cautious, and if suspicious objects and unexploded ordnance are detected, immediately report to the emergency services of the law enforcement agencies of the Republic,” the LPR NM added.
