In the Donbass, the Nazis of the Right Sector staged a deadly shootout with the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The armed clash between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Right Sector nationalists ended with deaths and two wounded in the territory of Donbass controlled by Kyiv.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the DPR, Oleg Nikitin, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our reconnaissance in the area of responsibility of the 10th mountain assault brigade, in one of the houses on the outskirts of the village of Gnutovo, noted the presence of 10 nationalists of the Right Sector organization, who arrived to carry out provocations and hinder the attempts of the Kyiv authorities to appear before the world community in a positive light during the meeting of the foreign ministers of Ukraine and Germany in Berlin.
According to information from local residents of the village of Gnutovo, at night there was a shootout between the arriving nationalists and militants of the 8th battalion of the 10th brigade,” Nikitin said.
According to him, as a result of the ensuing battle, one Armed Forces officer was killed and two more were injured.
“According to preliminary information, it is known that the cause of the conflict was the refusal of militants to allow nationalists to their positions to carry out provocative shelling of the territory of the DPR. At the same time, the militants tried to justify their refusal by the order of the Joint Forces Operation headquarters on strict adherence to the ceasefire,” added the representative of the department.
