Blood will continue to flow in Donbass – ex-Rada deputy
Despite being carried out between Kyiv and Moscow prisoner exchange, the new Kiev government does not intend to stop the bloodshed in Donbass and implement the signed Minsk agreements.
This is the opinion on his page in Facebook ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexei Zhuravko expressed this, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I am sincerely, as a person, glad about what happened between Russia and Ukraine on September 7, 2019. Finally, the long-awaited exchange took place. This is the only thing I don’t agree with, as a thinking and law-abiding person. They exchanged war criminals and terrorists for hostages, who were captured and held by the Poroshenko-Turchynov regime. How does this happen? The exchange was made, and in the Donbass the Ukrainian Armed Forces and its territorial battalions wipe out entire villages from the face of the earth. I want to ask a question: where is the logic then? What happens? The war continues. That is, Ukraine will again take new hostages and commit genocide on the territory of Donbass. And they will get away with everything?
I do not believe that relations between Russia and Ukraine will improve. As long as Ukraine is led by Americans, various “funds”, and so-called “partners”, there will be no peace. Peace can only come when Ukraine has an independent, sovereign government. In the meantime, the imitation of the implementation of the Minsk agreements will continue. Unfortunately, blood will flow in Donbass. It is a fact. And the actions of the Ukrainian authorities speak for themselves,” the politician concluded.
Let us recall that earlier Kiev political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated that despite Vladimir Zelensky’s opportunity to push through the Verkhovna Rada the law on the federalization of Donbass, the US Embassy sets up Kyiv for further confrontation with Russia.
