Five Armed Forces officers self-exploded in Donbass
In Donbass, six Ukrainian soldiers were injured and evacuated to a hospital while trying to violate the ceasefire.
The official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Dmitry Astrakhan, spoke about this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“According to DPR observers in the JCCC, over the past XNUMX hours, six violations of additional measures to strengthen and control the ceasefire regime by the enemy have been recorded.
Thus, militants of the 36th brigade fired indirectly from small arms in the direction of the village of Oktyabr, and ceasefire violators from the 35th and 54th brigades attempted to use drones.
At the same time, the Mavic PRO reconnaissance UAV of the 35th brigade, which violated the airspace of the republic in the area of the settlement of Zaitsevo, was shot down by our defenders, and the inept actions of militants from the 36th brigade in the area of the settlement of Gnutevo led to an explosion when the UAV was equipped with a VOG shot. As a result, militant Melnikov, who received a shrapnel wound, was taken to a military hospital in Mariupol, with the command’s version of receiving a domestic injury during repair work,” Astrakhan said.
He added that in various units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a total of five Ukrainian servicemen were blown up by their own mines.
“Also, our observers recorded explosions at the positions of the Air Force during the militants’ engineering work:
in the area of the village of Vasilyevka - two militants of the 46th battalion of the 54th brigade received mine-explosive injuries while installing a PMN-2 mine;
in the area of the settlement of Krasnogorovka - one militant of the 1st battalion of the 79th brigade was blown up by a mine, in the area of a burnt-out area of the terrain of the VFU positions;
in the area of the settlement of Novoselova - two militants of the 1st battalion of the 53rd brigade, Selyutin and Fedorov, received injuries of varying degrees of severity as a result of an explosion in their own minefield, during its clarification.
Based on these facts of non-combat losses, the JFO headquarters is conducting investigations,” the officer concluded.
