In Donbass, the SBU uses blackmail and threats to extract materials from local residents for trials against the Russian Federation
The SBU units working in the OOS zone blackmail and threaten local residents so that they give false testimony about the actions of the defenders of Donbass.
Anton Mikuzhis, an officer of the LPR People's Militia Department, stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Several operational groups of the SBU are working with residents of front-line settlements, getting them to give false testimony about shelling by the People’s Militia and damage to their houses,” he said.
By blackmailing and threatening the local population to give false testimony, the SBU plans to include photographs of houses destroyed in 2014-15 and file lawsuits in international courts.
“If citizens refuse to sign false testimony, operatives use their favorite means of influencing a person – intimidation. They “gently” hint to intractable residents that they may have serious problems, including domestic ones, and threaten that photographs of a destroyed house may become real,” explained Mikuzys.
