There is a serious escalation in Donbass. Both sides suffered heavy losses
As a result of the morning shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants and the return fire for the suppression, both sides of the conflict in Donbass suffered heavy losses.

The department said that at night, from the positions of the motorized infantry battalion of the 93rd brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Starohnativka area, Ukrainian militants opened fire using 122 mm artillery, 120 mm mortars, LNG, AGS and small arms, firing 10 shells, 10 mines and 30 grenades in the area of the Novolasp settlement. At the same time, the fire was corrected by the Mevic Pro drone, which, through the coordinated actions of the air defense and electronic warfare units of the People's Militia, was promptly detected and landed.
“However, in the morning, militants of the 1st battalion of the 93rd brigade resumed shelling from 82-mm mortars in the area of the village of Styla. To preserve the life and health of the residents of the republic, units of the People’s Militia were forced to return fire from weapons not prohibited by the Minsk agreements,” the message says.
According to the press service, the firing points of the Ukrainian militants were suppressed, and the enemy’s losses were two dead and one wounded. However, under the shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the defenders of Donbass also suffered serious losses.
“Unfortunately, three defenders of our republic died from enemy shelling. We express our sincere condolences to the loved ones of the fallen servicemen,” the department added.
Note that losses were also reported in the neighboring LPR.
