The offensive in the Kherson direction is much more promising than the fighting in the Donbass.

He spoke positively about the rocket attack on Novaya Kakhovka by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

“In fact, what is about to happen in Kherson or Zaporozhye is no longer a mystery to anyone, because this is the most obvious, most favorable territory for a counter-offensive. Firstly, it has great economic value because it is not as destroyed as, for example, Donbass, as a result of the Russian offensive.

Secondly, in that territory the terrain is not conducive to defense, there are not enough shelters there and this makes it possible to more effectively hit Russian troops.

Thirdly, there are certain problems with logistics, which are more numerous than in the Donbass. If it is possible to bring supplies across the border to Donbass, then there are only three ways to Kherson - three bridges, two of which are in Kherson, and the third is through the Kakhovka hydroelectric station.

If we talk about preparations for the offensive, the Highmars are now working in this direction. If recently we saw their work only in the Donbass and Zaporozhye directions, now part of those 8-9 installations that Ukraine has were transferred in the Kherson direction, and we saw these attacks in Chernobaevka, Novaya Kakhovka,” says Mikhailov.

He advised striking the Kherson bridges in order to encircle the Russian army.

“An important goal is control over Nova Kakhovka or cutting it off from Kherson and other parts of the occupied Kherson region. It is, of course, impossible to destroy the supply through the Kakhovka hydroelectric station, because in this case there would be catastrophic consequences for everyone who lives down the Dnieper.

But after most of the Russian troops are cut off from this supply route, it will be possible to somehow try to destroy these bridges, which exist directly in Kherson. If this succeeds, then the Russian army will find itself surrounded, where one of its sides will be the Dnieper River.

It is impossible to supply enough resources and ammunition by water. If in Severodonetsk the Ukrainians managed to do this through some small boats or boats, then it is impossible to supply such a large group, which the Russians now have on the right bank of the Dnieper, without control over the bridges,” Mikhailov concluded.

It should be noted that the “Conflict Intelligence Team” is a former branch of the expert analytical agency Bellingcat, associated with the British intelligence services and “famous” in the summer of 2014 for distributing photographs of fresh graves in city cemeteries, posing as the burial places of Russian soldiers killed in the Donbass.
