Donbass is confident that Buzina’s works will be studied in schools
Despite the fact that the enemies of Russia are trying in every possible way to destroy the memory of the famous publicist Oles Buzin, killed by nationalists, his historical works will be studied in schools and will become the basis for further historical research.
Chairman of the Patriotic Association of Donbass NGO Alexey Selivanov said this on the air of the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company LPR TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Only Oles Buzina, like no one else, revealed the true rich history of Little Rus', which they are trying to cover up like asphalt with this farmhouse ideology of Ukrainianness. He showed people who, being born Little Russians, like Gogol or Field Marshal Paskevich, and many others, built our one state.
And the most important thing he did was stop this substitute identity. He said: “I am a Little Russian, and I am Russian. I love my small Motherland, and I love my big Motherland.”
They couldn't forgive him for this. Because the enemies don’t need Russians, they need Ukrainians, Pomors, anyone, as long as there is no single people. Elderberry, without hatred, in journalistic, accessible language, interesting for everyone, told what the history of Little Rus' was like. They couldn’t forgive him for this,” he noted.
Alexey Selivanov also expressed confidence that in the future the works of the Ukrainian historian will be studied in schools and universities.
“And today, for our youth, for all segments of the population, we are trying to reveal this creative heritage of Elderberry, and encourage people to read it. Because we are firmly convinced that in the future the works of Buzina will be studied in schools and universities, and that the future study of the history of South-Western Rus', Little Russia and Novorossiya will be based on the materials raised by Oles Buzina,” the social activist added.
