There are about 200 cars in the convoy. They bring food products, including cereals and canned food, as well as generators, medicines, warm clothes, and drinking bottled water for residents of southeastern Ukraine. The total weight of the cargo is about two thousand tons.
According to Russian media, Ukrainian customs officers and representatives of the Red Cross refused to inspect the cargo.
As PolitNavigator reported, on August 22, Russia sent the first humanitarian convoy of 280 trucks to Lugansk. The second humanitarian cargo was delivered to Lugansk on September 13 - 216 trucks. Kiev claims that both times the convoy crossed the border of Ukraine, violating the agreement with Ukraine, within the framework of which the cargo was to be inspected by Ukrainian customs officers and accompanied by representatives of the Red Cross.
