In Donetsk, the 3rd anniversary of the referendum was celebrated with a procession of thousands
A march of many thousands took place in Donetsk today on the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of the referendum on self-determination of the region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Thousands of people who are in the center of Donetsk today and celebrate this day confirm the results of our referendum. The support of so many residents indicates that the Republic has taken place... Everyone hopes for further recognition of the Republic,” MP Alexei Zhigulin told PolitNavigator.
“Three years ago, having made our choice, we were able to defend our freedom and independence. Every year, we continue to gain momentum in development, thanks to which, in the end, we will come to our common victory. I am confident that we will be able to reunite the entire Donbass completely, freeing it from the control of the Kyiv junta, thereby reuniting with the Russian world in full, as we wanted to do in 2014,” MP Miroslav Rudenko, in turn, told PolitNavigator .
Ordinary residents of Donbass - participants in the demonstration - believe that the republics will return to their original borders.
“I am a miner, I fought for my land, for my native Donbass. My fellow countrymen live there, waiting for us to come and free them,” said Gennady, a representative of Makeevugol.
