This was announced by the speaker of the Information and Analytical Center of the National Security and Defense Council Andrei Lysenko, commenting on information about the possible transfer of Russian aviation to Donetsk.
“There are already aviation at the airfields along the border with Ukraine on the Russian side. After the exercises that took place there, it did not go away. Regarding the relocation to the Donetsk airport, now it is not suitable to receive any aircraft,” Lysenko said.
At the same time, he said that the battle for the airport continues. According to him, over the past XNUMX hours, Ukrainian units repulsed one assault attempt and recorded four attacks.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier Ukrainian military expert-propagandist Dmitry Tymchuk said that the militias may have their own air force, which will use the runway of the Donetsk airport.
