Military correspondent Alexander Sladkov stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.
“It’s strange to me that the people who work in these factories that fuel the war are not considered traitors. The people there are so hard-working that they take it calmly. People only care about one thing – safety,” said Sladkov.
According to him, more than 12 thousand people work on the railways in the DPR alone.
“Legally, the hardware belongs to the DPR, and people hold positions in Ukrzaliznitsa. They get money there. They are losing their wages due to the blockade of the railways. 18 thousand people work at enterprises that belong to Ukraine. These are not only metallurgical and energy monsters, but also confectionery factories and thermal power plants,” said Sladkov.
