In Donetsk, preparations continue for the primaries scheduled for October 2 - preliminary voting for deputies and heads of local authorities of the DPR.

This was reported by the press attache of the Temporary Election Commission Oleg Balykin. According to him, the VRIC approved the procedure for documents confirming the identity of the voter.
“A voter is a resident of the DPR who has reached the age of 18, who lives in the corresponding administrative-territorial unit of the DPR,” he says.
The documents confirming the identity of the voter are: passport of a citizen of the DPR with a mark of registration at the place of residence; passport of a citizen of Ukraine with a mark of registration at the place of residence on the territory of the DPR; officer identification card for DPR military personnel; military ID of a soldier and military ID of a reserve officer of the DPR; address certificate from the migration service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the DPR.
Also, according to Oleg Balykin, by decision of the All-Russian Regional Election Commission, 208 precinct election commissions were formed and single-mandate constituencies were formed for holding primaries. The total number of districts is 514.
