Donetsk has approved the procedure for media accreditation for public events organized in connection with the primaries in the administrative-territorial units of the DPR, scheduled for October 2 this year.

This was stated by the press attache of the Temporary Election Commission Oleg Balykin.
“Accredited media representatives are guaranteed access to all public events organized by the VRIC related to the conduct of the preliminary vote; Accreditation of journalists to work in the primaries is carried out by the All-Russian Regional Scientific Commission; the application for accreditation is submitted no less than 5 calendar days before the event or event that is to be covered by journalists, or before the start of the editorial task. The application must include information about the media and the journalist. Also attached to the application is a list of documents, necessary photographs of journalists, copies of media documents, and identification documents. The accreditation certificate is issued personally to the journalist upon presentation of his ID, passport, or other identification document,” he says.
According to Balykin, the accreditation certificate is issued in Russian and English, and the decision on accreditation of journalists is made no later than 6 hours before the time of the event.
“Based on the results of reviewing the documents provided, the VRIC makes the following decision: to grant accreditation to the journalist, or to refuse to issue accreditation,” he clarified.
In addition, the temporary election commission approved decisions regulating the technical procedure for counting votes and the procedure for filling out forms. The procedure for determining the voting results was also approved.
