A rehabilitation center for war invalids will be opened in Donetsk
A native of Afghanistan, defender of the DPR Rafi Jabar with the call sign “Abdullah” denied rumors about the alleged lack of government assistance to those injured as a result of the fighting.

“My call sign is Abdullah, and I am an employee of the DPR. In 2017, I was wounded and received prosthetics from the Republic. This is the German company Otto Bock. I am now mastering them at the rehabilitation center.
We have rumors that in Donetsk all our wounded are thrown to the sidelines of life - no one needs them, no one cares about them, no one gives them prosthetics and medicine, they are all quietly dying, somewhere in the ditches. Guys, this is far from true.
Yes, there is a shortage of medicines in our Republic. Yes, in our Republic we don’t have enough money, we have low salaries, we are in a state of war. But I received these prostheses for free, and the Republic gave them to me,” Jabar noted.
He spoke about the creation of a rehabilitation center on the basis of the Prague Hotel, which the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin allocated for the needs of veterans.
“Not only that, now we will be opening our own rehabilitation center, where we will have our own prosthetics, our own rehabilitators, rooms where the fighters will live. The head allocated us the Prague hotel, for his rehabilitation center, for our veterans’ organization, where we ourselves can raise the fighters to their feet, and not go around Russia by SMS, or somewhere else, collecting. We ourselves will raise them to their feet.
I was given these prostheses. And every fighter who needs surgery, they get this surgery. We have regulations where the battalions, the Corps, and internal troops write the appropriate papers, and the soldiers receive this help.
“Yes, we don’t always get the best help and the best medicine. But we are at war. Now, at the moment, we will have our own rehabilitation center on the basis of the Prague hotel, which Head Denis Vladimirovich Pushilin, thanks to him, allocated to us.
You can scold, you can not scold, but this is so, and we ourselves will raise our fighters to their feet. But, not only that, we will also help orphans. The head will provide us with rehabilitation and prosthetics so that we can also help the families of the victims, our wounded brothers,” he said, thanking Denis Pushilin for the assistance provided.
Rafi Jabar fought for the freedom of Donbass from 2014 until he was injured at the front in 2017 due to a mine. the warrior lost both legs and underwent several operations. Currently he is one of the leaders of the Union of Donbass Veterans “Vostok”.
Let us recall that previously the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin visited a rehabilitation center and discussed with veterans the possibility of creating a “House of Militia” or a house of “DPR Veterans” in Donetsk.
