One of the organizers of the referendum on the independence of the DPR, Roman Manekin, criticized today’s speech by Moscow political scientist Alexei Chesnakov, who said that after the murder of Alexander Zakharchenko, the “only and completely legitimate” body in the DPR the People's Council headed by Denis Pushilin remains.
Manekin noted that the late Zakharchenko had three deputies, who, until the election of a new head, are collectively responsible for what is happening in the republic.
