In Donetsk, details of the unsuccessful attack of the Ukrainian DRG were announced
According to information from Ukrainian volunteers, in addition to those abandoned on the battlefield during unsuccessful attack by Ukrainian Armed Forces saboteurs in the Shirokino area, a wounded serviceman, two more of his comrades were taken to the hospital with injuries of varying degrees of severity.
This information was announced today during a briefing by the official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he noted that additional details of another failed combat raid carried out by Ukrainian militants became known from Ukrainian volunteers located in the conflict zone.
“As previously reported, on April 11, in the area of the settlement of Shirokino, military personnel of the People’s Militia of the DPR successfully stopped an attempt to infiltrate Ukrainian saboteurs. According to updated information, the operating DRG was part of the 73rd Naval Operations Center of the Special Operations Forces. In addition to the senior Tofan soldier abandoned on the battlefield, there were also losses among the saboteurs. There are two wounded militants from the 73rd Center in a medical facility in Mariupol. This is the commander of the sabotage group, Captain 3rd Rank Maksimenko, and intelligence officer Skiba,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
He also added that, according to established tradition, the command of the occupation forces remains silent and is in no hurry to admit the losses incurred as a result of failed operations.
