“According to reports from the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Donetsk region, representatives of the DPR appealed to the head of the civil defense headquarters of the Donetsk station with a demand to remove all public transport from Station Square,” says the press service of the Donetsk City Council.
In this regard, city bus routes No. 5, 16, 19a, 26, 35a, 46b, 70 will reach the control center of Sokolinaya Street, 38a. Trams on route No. 1 DMZ - railway station will go to Ekonomicheskaya Street, and trolleybuses on route No. 2 DMZ - railway station will go to city hospital No. 20.
According to the agency's correspondent, thus, transport will stop 4 stops before the station, approximately 2,5 kilometers. At the same time, three large supermarkets are concentrated in this location, where most residents of the area shopped.
The City Council also stated that representatives of the DPR are restricting the movement of personal vehicles in the Station Square area.
As Navigator reported, on July 21, Rutchenkovsky Park, adjacent to the railway station, was shelled in Donetsk.
