The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, laid flowers at the bust of the deceased commander of the multinational brigade “Pyatnashki,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Oleg Mamiev (call sign Mamai) was among the first volunteers who came to support the residents of Donbass in the fight against the Kyiv regime in May 2014. He died on May 17, 2018, in one of the most dangerous sectors of the front - in the industrial zone near Avdeevka. He was buried in his homeland, North Ossetia. His grave is located on the Alley of Heroes in Vladikavkaz.

“The Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin paid tribute to the memory and respect of the DPR Hero Oleg Mamiev and laid flowers at his bust on the Alley of Heroes in the capital’s Lenin Komsomol Park of Culture and Leisure,” the press service of the head of the DPR reported.
