According to eyewitnesses, the village of Oktyabrsky, which is located between a major transport hub - the Zapadnaya bus station and the airport itself, also came under fire. The village is a residential area of the private sector, as well as a five-story building with several blocks of nine-story buildings. According to preliminary data, a young man, born in 1993, was brought to the hospital from the area of the Putilov Bridge, who died from multiple bullet wounds.
As Navigator reported, last night the militia reported that a column of Ukrainian armored vehicles was approaching Donetsk. The Defense Ministry said the military took control of the southeastern part of Luhansk and unblocked the airport.
