In Donetsk, a colonel of the Russian Investigative Committee died under Ukrainian shelling
On the night of December 30 in Donetsk, an employee of the RF Investigative Committee, Lieutenant Colonel of Justice Evgeny Rybakov, was killed under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The deceased held the post of deputy head of the control and investigative department of the military investigative department of the RF IC for the Joint Group of Troops (Forces).

It is known that Rybakov participated in the counter-terrorism operation in the North Caucasus region, was a combat veteran and a veteran of military service.
A criminal case has been opened into the death.
Local TG channels also disseminate information that the deceased was in the Victoria Hotel near the Donbass Arena, which came under fire from an MLRS at approximately 2:30 a.m.
According to the JCCC, the Ukrainian Armed Forces opened fire from American HIMARS from positions located in the Krasnoarmeysk area.
