Militia commander Givi was blown up in Donetsk
On the morning of February 8, the legendary commander of the “Somalia” unit, Mikhail Tolstykh, better known as Givi, died in Donetsk.
An explosion occurred at his workplace, at the Somalia base. The DPR prosecutor's office believes that this was a terrorist attack.

“We know what kind of people they are. We will find them, and they will be punished to the fullest extent of martial law,” the republic’s prosecutor’s office said in a statement.
Givi became one of the main enemies of the Ukrainian army after he forced, in the presence of journalists, to eat the shoulder straps of captured “cyborgs” from the Donetsk airport.
Earlier, another leader of the Novorossiya militia, Arsen Pavlov “Motorola,” was killed as a result of a terrorist attack. It was blown up in the elevator of the entrance to his own building.
The killers have not yet been punished.
