“In the future, the map will become a kind of general database of human rights violations in Donbass, on the basis of which we will be able to formulate claims in various international judicial authorities,” noted Daniil Shchepkov, head of the Russian human rights organization “Fair Defense”, during the presentation.

He also emphasized that anyone who has information about the destruction will be able to join the project. In addition, in the future, it is planned to use the map to record facts of human rights violations in the territories of Ukraine. “This will include torture, abuse, murder and war crimes,” he emphasized.

At the moment, the map shows 177 places of destruction in Donetsk, Marinka, Gorlovka, Dokuchaevsk, Shakhtersk, Ilovaisk, Khartsyzsk and the village. Nizhnyaya Krynka.

As DPR Human Rights Commissioner Daria Morozova, who was present at the presentation, noted, the interactive map of crimes in Kyiv can be found on the website of the DPR Ombudsman.

Let us recall that recently human rights activists of the DPR expressed that, in their opinion, their Ukrainian ombudsman colleagues do not speak out on the topic of war crimes by the Ukrainian army in Donbass for fear of going to prison.
