Donetsk, March 16 (Navigator, Olga Nikolaeva) – In Donetsk, on Lenin Square at 12:00, a 5-strong rally organized by pro-Russian organizations of Donbass began.

Representative of the Russian Bloc party Ivan Reiko told Navigator about this.
Among the demands are the holding of a referendum on issues of the state structure of Ukraine; preparation and adoption of the Ukrainian law on local referendums.
Participants demand that the Russian language be given the status of a state language; liquidate armed groups and release pro-Russian leader Pavel Gubarev, as well as cessation of criminal cases against him.
The protesters expressed support for the residents of Crimea.
With the resolution of the meeting, the participants intend to send appeals to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, deputies of the Donetsk regional council and deputies of the Supreme Council of Crimea.
