Today, in the Petrovsky and Kuibyshevsky districts of Donetsk, ceremonial parades were held for veterans of the Great Patriotic War Grigory Efimovich Tsesarenko, Alexander Borisovich Shpandaruk, Anastasia Fedorovna Kolesnik, Nina Andreevna Psareva, Alexey Dmitrievich Klimov and Sergei Gavrilovich Gavrilov.

“War is fear and pain. Pain for the fact that there is so much death and destruction around us, and fear for the fact that, going into battle, we did not know whether we would return alive from it and whether we would see our families and homes,” Sergei Gavrilov shared his impressions.
