The geography of shelling in Donetsk is expanding: mines and factories are being targeted, there are not enough places in hospitals for the wounded (PHOTO)
Donetsk, August 12 (Navigator, Mikhail Shalyapin) - The geography of shelling of Donetsk and its suburbs is expanding: if previously shells hit mainly residential buildings and schools, now large industrial and infrastructure facilities are becoming the target of attacks. Thus, the Lidievka mine area and the area adjacent to the Topaz plant were subjected to massive bombing.

This plant is a large and unique enterprise of the military-industrial complex for the region, and, apparently, the destruction of important enterprises has become one of the priority tasks. It was only by luck that the shells did not hit these objects, but a trend is clearly visible.
Chaotic shelling of areas of the city also led to numerous fires. Fire brigades simply do not have time to localize and extinguish all fires, and there are simply not enough ambulances to evacuate the wounded.
Doctors say that if this dynamic of shelling continues, soon there will simply be no room in hospitals and dormitories and schools will have to be equipped as clinics. There is also a catastrophic shortage of medical personnel: many Donetsk doctors often work 26-28 hours.
Their work is hampered by the lack of necessary medicines and equipment, which are practically not delivered to the city due to the blockade.
This is the situation in Donetsk today, and in such conditions people have to survive. As experts note, without the creation of humanitarian corridors and the provision of significant humanitarian assistance, the situation could become catastrophic.
