According to Roman Lyagin, Chairman of the DPR Central Election Commission, the online voting procedure is currently being tested. According to him, voting via the Internet will be possible from October 29.
To do this, you will need to perform a number of operations, including attaching a scan of your passport to the application. After checking the documents, the voter will receive a ballot with a unique code, and will be able to send the result of his choice either to the DPR Central Election Commission website, or by printing it out and sending it to the CEC address by mail.
“We will give the opportunity to vote to all residents of the DPR without exception. We have formed a fairly high-quality, numerous apparatus; we now have hundreds of specialists who will quickly process data and have communications with polling stations. Everyone within the administrative boundaries of the Donetsk region will be able to vote,” says Lyagin.
According to him, a total of 364 polling stations have been formed, plus three in places of temporary accommodation of migrants in the Russian Federation - in the Rostov, Belgorod and Voronezh regions.
As PolitNavigator reported, On November 2, the DPR holds elections for the People's Council and the head of the republic.
