“Since the beginning of 2016, employees of the transport security department of the DPR Ministry of Transport have prevented the theft of material assets on the railway in the amount of 991,4 thousand rubles,” the Ministry of Transport said.
“In March, the Donetsk Railway State Enterprise planned to enter into an agreement with a commercial organization for the supply of window blocks for one of the divisions. However, it turned out that the area to be glazed was 454 square meters less than the volume stated in the contract, and the prices were inflated. Thus, the contractor’s attempt to overestimate the volume of work was stopped, and the unreasonable expenditure of funds in the amount of more than 982 thousand rubles was prevented,” the message says.
