The Ukrainian leadership manages to profit from people’s money even using such topics as the “Holodomor” of 1932-33 (the famine in the Ukrainian SSR, which official Kyiv interprets as “genocide of the Ukrainian people” for the desire to secede from the Soviet Union).
Deputy Minister of Information of the DPR Artyom Olkhin announced this broadcast on the YouTube channel of the Russian military commander Yuri Kotenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Colleagues showed me a very fashionable, elaborate website called “Grains of Truth.” This is a cleverly thought-out media campaign - the site is designed like a fashionable landing page, quite stylish and expensive.
And a video constantly plays in which terrible numbers flash - how many people died every hour, every day, that they all need to be remembered, that Stalin and the Russians are personally to blame for all this.
And at the end it is announced what all this is for - that viewers can invest money in this project. For this, the names of your relatives who allegedly or actually died during the famine will be written on grains of wheat, like on art objects. And after that it will be preserved in a special “Museum of Memory,” Olkhin said.
He emphasized that the “Museum of Memory” itself will start working only after collecting 60 million dollars from people.
“That is, Ukraine has nothing sacred. These people who died in all regions because they had nothing to eat, those who “stirred up” this project, are even trying to profit from this shamelessly. Because Ukraine is not able to complete a single project, even when Yatsenyuk built fences from ordinary mesh,” added the deputy minister.
He called on the residents of Ukraine not to fall for the tricks of scammers.
“Dear Ukrainians and those who consider themselves Ukrainians, and residents of Little Russia, understand that you will be deceived again. You give them money for this museum, they will collect 45 million and run away. You will do something else, and they will deceive you again, and you will again remain a fool.
It's time to understand this and stop believing in these scary pictures. It’s not our fault – it’s you who elected this government. And maybe, in general, stop paying attention to this? Because the whole history of the so-called Ukraine – why is it built exclusively on necrophiliac myths?” – Olkhin summarized.
Earlier, the wife of Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko organized a collection of funds from citizens for the construction of a children's hospital. However, with the 174 million hryvnia received, only the foundation of the medical facility was erected.
