According to the mayor's office, as a result of military operations there is massive damage to the city's housing stock, infrastructure and communications.

Around the city, 152 transformer substations are de-energized in the Kuibyshevsky, Kievsky and Petrovsky districts of the city. As of this morning, the situation in Donetsk is extremely tense. Cannonade from heavy guns is heard throughout the city.
