People broke the windows and tried to break into the premises.
The progress of the protesters was hindered by metallic blinds on the windows and doors.
The head of the SBU department in the Donetsk region, Valery Ivanov, came out to the citizens. He only managed to say: “I serve the people of Ukraine and the Donetsk region!” After this, the crowd booed the official and tried to attack him.
The protesters demand the immediate release of People's Governor Pavel Gubarev and all political prisoners.
Some of the protesters went to the police department, where they believe the Donetsk residents detained after the clashes on March 13 with Ukrainian nationalists are being held.
