The sequel to the famous film is being filmed in Donetsk
Despite the coronavirus pandemic, filming of the action-packed blockbuster “Alpha R,” which is a continuation of the legendary film “TASS is Authorized to Declare,” continues in the DPR.
This was reported on the Tsargrad TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The head of the Russian Hour studio, Alexander Korobko, spoke about the film.
“This is not a crude and primitive continuation. We are talking about completely different circumstances, a different time, a different topic. But, nevertheless, the confrontation between deep states, intelligence services, and so on, today this may be an even more pressing topic than when “TASS is authorized to declare” was filmed,” the director noted.
The story emphasized that a significant part of the filming was supposed to take place in other countries - for example, in Syria, but the pandemic prevented these plans. As a result, we had to film everything in Donbass. The creators emphasized that they managed to solve this problem.
“We filmed some exotic locations in the Donetsk Botanical Garden. No one will ever guess when watching the film that this is not the country that is being told,” Korobko added.
He also said that the script would be fantastic - a kind of homage to Terminator 3 - the film shows what would await a conditional enemy in the event of a nuclear attack on Russia.
The film is being prepared for premiere in Russian and foreign cinemas.
The channel also showed an exclusive trailer for the film “Alpha R”.
