Donetsk, May 01 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Donetsk, supporters of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” stormed the building of the regional prosecutor’s office.

A Navigator correspondent reports this. According to him, after the end of the rally in support of the referendum, a proposal was made to release DPR supporters who were in the prosecutor’s office. The crowd moved to the prosecutor's office building, where they were met by a police cordon.
To the question “Are you with the people,” the police answered negatively. Despite reports that law enforcement officers are from Chernigov, they have Donetsk chevrons on their uniforms. Suddenly, a scuffle broke out between the protesters and the police. Law enforcement officers opened fire with traumatic weapons, threw stun grenades, and released tear gas.
According to the agency's correspondent, at least three people were injured.
The police building was completely surrounded by protesters. Protesters occupied the building.
Now law enforcement officers have agreed to hand over their batons and shields. The protesters disarm them and let them out through the corridor.
At 16:25 the flag over the prosecutor's office building was changed. The national flag of Ukraine was burned.
As a Navigator correspondent reported, one of the DPR activists said that the prosecutor’s office building will be occupied in the same way as the premises of the Regional State Administration.
