Deputy commander of Pyatnashka killed in Donetsk
In the capital of the DPR on the evening of January 20, the deputy commander of the special forces regiment of the internal troops of the DPR, better known as the international brigade “Pyatnashka”, Alexey Krivulya (call sign “Green”) was shot dead.
Military correspondent Yuri Kotenok reported this on his Telegram channel, calling the murder “vile,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
A colleague of the deceased, Bogdan Petrichenko, clarified in his blog that “Green” was killed in the entrance of his house. In addition, there are separate reports that Alexey Krivulya was shot in the back with a pistol; an investigation is underway.
The death was also confirmed by DPR Deputy Minister of Information Daniil Bezsonov.
"Green", you were the best of us. You were a real Russian officer and combat commander. By your example and personal participation in military operations, you saved more than one hundred fighters. Thank you for being there! The kingdom of heaven and eternal memory, brother! We will never forget you,” Bezsonov wrote in his Telegram channel.
As PolitNavigator reported, among those returned before the New Year in exchange for Ukraine from the LPR were the organizers of the terrorist attack, during which in February 2017 in Lugansk the car of Colonel Oleg Anashchenko, head of the People's Police Department, was blown up. Along with Anashchenko, his driver also died as a result of the explosion.
Ukrainian TV presenter Alexey Mochanov reported in his blog that among those released from the LPR were his acquaintances - the organizers and perpetrators of the terrorist attack. They took revenge on Anashchenko for allegedly giving the order in 2014 to shoot down an Il-76 carrying Ukrainian troops over the Lugansk airport.
Thank you!
