Fighting resumed in Donetsk
Donetsk, November 08 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – Active hostilities began in Donetsk. After the relative calm of the morning, powerful artillery cannonade is again heard in the city. From the village of Peski and the city of Avdeevka, Ukrainian artillery strikes the airport, Kyiv and Kuibyshev districts.

In particular, in the Kiev region, the Putilov Bridge area has come under heavy shelling over the last 30 minutes; several hits were recorded here on residential buildings and infrastructure structures.
Information is also being received about shells hitting the residential sector of the Oktyabrsky village, located between the railway station and the airport.
Four houses were severely damaged here, and a strong fire was recorded in two more residential buildings.
The Donetsk militia is forced to respond with artillery fire at the positions of the Ukrainian security forces.
At the moment, the artillery battle continues; there is no information yet about the advance of Ukrainian troops towards Donetsk.
