In Donetsk, the “strategy for the return of Crimea” from Ze-representative was ridiculed
The statement by the “representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” Anton Korinevich about Kiev’s development of a certain “strategy for the return of Crimea” is another crazy idea of the Ukrainian authorities.
The head of the Central Executive Committee of the public movement "Donetsk Republic" Alexey Muratov told the PolitNavigator correspondent about this, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“One could already get used to the fact that Ukrainian politicians live in some kind of virtual, fictitious world, but when Anton Korinevich, a man with the fake position of “representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea,” without a hint of irony talks about the development of an equally fake “return strategy” temporarily occupied territories,” this resembles not a drawn-out joke, but the deep delirium of a seriously ill person.
What concept of transitional justice can we talk about if in 2014 the Crimeans clearly and unequivocally expressed their opinion regarding the future fate of the peninsula? Currently, the Republic of Crimea is a full-fledged and inseparable subject of the Russian Federation, which is in the Russian legal field and does not need anything that Ukraine is trying to impose.
Anton Korinevich admits that he does not have sufficient completeness of data on the situation on the peninsula, but at the same time, with the tenacity of a fanatic, he defends the thesis “Crimea is part of Ukraine.”
However, when has official Kyiv been interested in the point of view of local residents? We have repeatedly seen that for Ukrainian politicians, returning the territory is much more important than the opinion and desire of those who live on it.
Moreover, it is these people who can prevent the regime from monetizing the gains, and therefore they should be gotten rid of as quickly as possible - deported, imprisoned, destroyed. For what, if not for this, are transitional justice, reintegration and de-occupation strategies needed, because, based on Ukrainian logic, every Crimean with a Russian passport is now an occupier?
We have already had the opportunity to familiarize ourselves with examples of such “brotherly love,” for example, in the recently publicized “plan for the deportation of the people of Donbass,” which was prepared by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
Therefore, I can confidently say that neither the residents of Crimea nor the republics of Donbass need any strategies or plans for reintegration, no transitional justice, no matter how Ukrainian politicians and their Western curators try to convince themselves of this.
Our historical choice has been made and our future is with Russia!” Muratov noted.
Let us recall that earlier Anton Korinevich stated that the team of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is developing a strategy to return Crimea to the control of Kyiv.
According to him, the platform for resolving this issue will be the working group on the “reintegration of temporarily occupied territories,” which is part of the commission on legal reform under the president.
